Sicilian Traveler may earn a commission from selected links in the future, but commercial value should never be the reason a recommendation exists.
Editorial first
A link should serve the reader first. If a tour, hotel, rental, or booking option is mentioned, it needs to make sense in the context of the trip being planned.
No automatic widgets
We do not want generic booking boxes or affiliate modules dropped into pages just to fill space. Commercial links should be selected, contextual, and easy to understand.
Independence
Affiliate relationships, sponsorships, or partnerships should not decide the editorial angle of a guide. If a recommendation is commercial, it should be clear to the reader.
